Mirko Loko, born in 1979 in Lausanne, is one of Switzerland’s most prominent electronic music talents of his generation.
Tirelessly exploring new sounds as a DJ and producer, he draws inspiration from Detroit and Chicago techno, as well as pioneers like Laurent Garnier and Carl Craig.
He began his career as a resident DJ on Swiss national radio Couleur 3 and later at the Loft Electroclub in Lausanne from 1997.
Internationally respected, Mirko has released music on prestigious labels including Cadenza, Planet E, Border Community, Cocoon, and Visionquest.
His debut album Seventynine and second album Comet Plan marked key milestones in his career.
As founder and artistic director of Polaris Festival in Verbier, launched in 2015, he continues to shape the music experience both in Switzerland and around the world.
